As CEO, Tim is a key member of Marid’s executive and ownership team. He specializes in working with external and internal customers to find safe, efficient solutions to their building and structural challenges. Customers who work with Tim soon appreciate how his hands on approach, and in-depth knowledge allows him to come up with unique, cost effective solutions for their most challenging projects.
Tim has been at the forefront of steel building design in the region for years, and has spearheaded multiple notable builds in HRM, and throughout all 4 Atlantic provinces. From buildings to bridges, Tim has been a trusted partner to our clients, helping bring their concepts to life through innovative designs that always deliver superlative value.
Tim is a registered Professional Engineer in all Atlantic provinces & Alberta, is member of the Board of Directors of the Construction Association of Nova Scotia, the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction and is an active supporter of Feed Nova Scotia.
Tina is a graduate of Saint Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce (double major in Finance and Human Resource Management). Tina joined the Marid team in 1993. She received her CMA designation in 2000. With hard work and commitment to the company, she progressed from entry level to becoming the President & COO of the company.
As one of the senior managers, Tina was asked to be part of and facilitate the succession plan in 2007, thus leading the way to the position of President & COO. This has given her an opportunity to attain skills to lead, mentor and run the operations of the organization.
Tina has sat on many boards such as YPO (Young President’s Org.) and Steel Plus. She is currently a director (and on the executive) for the Nova Scotia Construction Labour Relations Association, she is a trustee for the Ironworkers Local 752 for both the pension and benefit plans. Tina is a director (and on the executive) for the Nova Scotia Construction Sector Council. She also sits on the board of the OEA (Office of the Employer Advisor. This involvement has defined her as a familiar and active member in the construction industry.
Being a part of Marid Industries Limited for twenty plus years, she continues to represent the founding philosophy of integrity, respect and trust.
