This Messaging Privacy Policy is setup for the Avaya SMS texting system that we will use for urgent communication for internal staff only.

Types of Information Collected
SMS opt-in consent or phone numbers collected for SMS purposes will NOT be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes under any circumstances.

1. SMS Consent Communication:
– Phone numbers obtained through the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

2. Types of SMS Communications:

– This system will only be used for internal communication with Marid Staff. We will use it for Snow Days and urgent communication with staff.
– Example: “Please be advised that today, February 26, 2026 we received 15cm of snow. The office will be open today at 10am.”

3. Message Frequency:

– Messages will only be sent for urgent communication, approximately 10 times per year.

4. Potential Fees:

– Please be aware that standard message and data rates may apply.

5. Opt-In Method:

– We will be send an email to all staff to opt in to this service or decline.

6. Opt-Out Method:

– If you no longer want to receive these texts, reply with “STOP” or send an email to [email protected] directly.
